A Little About Me
Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I am a survivor of domestic violence, and an
advocate for more laws to protect not only battered wives but also for more laws to protect the
weakest among us from predators—the children.  I believe that my calling in life is to write, both
for the entertainment of others in the form of my novels and to inform them of what they need
to hear—the truth.

I am a home school mom who believes that is the best way my children, and the many others
we know, will get the best education of not just the basics, but of good old-fashioned American
values that meant something fifty years ago.  This country was founded on principles written in
the Bible but today’s kids are not being taught these principles.  I believe these principles are
the cornerstone of a good person and a requirement for a good American.

I am active in politics but back only those I believe are good for the American people and the
American way of life, not those who are more interested in special interest groups or holding
office for the sake of holding office.  The issues are what counts, and those issues are the
ones that affect each and every American, regardless of gender, race, or beliefs. These issues
include immigration, crime, activist judges, schools and God, terrorism, the war in Iraq, and the
mass media.

My latest book "
America: Home of the Brave ~At Least for Now" I give the reader an in depth
look at the issues listed above.  I also write short articles which I submit to local newspapers.
Some of them are published in newspapers around East Texas.

Being “informed” is the only way to base an opinion. So even if you disagree with my opinion,
you will still have the facts to base your opinion on.  That is one of the great things that being
an American provides for us.  The Right to disagree.
